It started when an Angel took Augusto to Heaven. Part of what he told him was that he was given a Rod to lead people through turbulent times.

For example: He was shown that there will be a series of explosions all across America in at least three cities. The explosive device will be very sophisticated, using the newest technology, a binary explosive. When two blue liquids mix it causes a catastrophic explosion. Since then he has discovered that it was invented by the Russians! Very scary but important stuff indeed.
